Caritas Charity Bazaars, the annual fundraising event of Caritas - Hong Kong (Caritas), are running across four consecutive Sundays in November at six locations throughout Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. The event features a variety of stalls selling quality goods, offering games, and showcasing exciting stage performances. Upholding the theme of “Give Them Hope,” all funds raised from the Bazaars will be used to support the development of various services under Caritas, extending a helping hand to disadvantaged groups in need and giving them hope for a fulfilling life.

The opening ceremony of the Caritas Charity Bazaars – Hong Kong was graced by His Grace The Most Rev Julian Leow Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur, His Eminence Cardinal Stephen Chow, S.J., Bishop Hong Kong, Rev Joseph Yim, Chief Executive of Caritas - Hong Kong, Sr Winnie Yau, Provincial Superior of the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres, Sr. Margaret Wong, SPC, Supervisor & Principal of St. Paul's Convent School (Secondary Section), Sr. Nancy Margaret Cheung, Managing Director of St. Paul’s Hospital, Mrs. Magdalena Leung, Principal of St. Paul's Convent School (Primary Section), and Ms Theresa Ng, JP, Chairlady of Friends of Caritas.

Meanwhile, Rev Peter Lo, Deputy Chief Executive of Caritas – Hong Kong, Mr Joseph Kung, Episcopal Delegate for Education, The Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, Mr Justin Lai, Vice- Chairman of Friends of Caritas and Ms Vanessa Chung, Head of Caritas Family Services officiated the opening ceremony of the Caritas Charity Bazaar – Tuen Mun.
