Caritas Supportive Service for Adults with Relational Wounds

Service Introduction

Since April 2024, the Caritas Supportive Service for Adults with Relational Wounds (The Project) has been sponsored by The Community Chest of Hong Kong (The Chest) to provide supportive services for adults with relational wounds.

Living in a rapidly changing society, people need to pay more effort in nourishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. It is an opportunity to review your interaction patterns with others whilst encountering setbacks in interpersonal relationships. If you find yourself having difficulty in trusting others, avoiding connections with others, having repeated unhealthy relational dynamics, having intense fear of abandonment, or low self-esteem, it is a signal to take a rest, explore individual needs and seek resources to make a change.

Chinese name of the Project signifies the meaning of “a safe place to cultivate relationship with care and provide nourishment for the heart to keep it moving forward”. The Project offers a safe place for adults who have experienced relational wounds, provides them with self-care groups, workshops, and individual counseling services.
