About
Caritas Family Service has set up service centres at Tai Wai and Sha Kok district since 1977. Our Centre has been providing counselling service for individuals and families at Sha Tin district and we have rich professional experience in providing individual and family counselling service. Starting from 1 January, 2015, we have commenced the Integrated Family Service Centre format and continue to provide a spectrum of preventive, supportive and remedial services for individual and families in need. The official name of the Centre is Caritas Dr. & Mrs. Olinto de Sousa Integrated Family Service Centre.
Service Mission
Under the direction of “child-centred, family-focused and community- based”, we aim to enable individuals and families to utilize their internal strengths. We also make use of community resource to strengthen their abilities to face adversity. We promote mutual help spirits so that families can effectively cope with family problems and challenges.

Main Service Contents
- Family Counselling Service: include professional counselling service, crisis intervention and therapeutic groups for the users to face their adversity.
- Family Support Service: Include family life education programmes, community education activities, marriage enrichment programmes and groups, mental health education supportive programmes, mutual help groups, family aid service, referral and enquiry service.
- Family Resource Service: Include books, video and newspapers resource corners, recreational activities and interest classes, programmes for pre-schoolers, volunteer training, and activities and other parent-child activities.
