Billings Ovulation Method

Service Introduction

Billings Ovulation® Method is a natural fertility regulation method that Dr. John Billings and his wife began studying in 1953. This method has been clinically proven and has been registered by the World Health Organization as a very effective natural fertility regulation method. Couples can control whether they want to be pregnant or not by observing and record daily the changes in women’s cervical mucus state. No equipment or drug is needed by using this method. Also, there is no side effect.
Professor Emeritus James Braun is responsible for basic research on the development of reproductive hormones in women's menstrual cycles, in particular methods for measuring the content of estrogen and progesterone metabolites in urine. Braun and Billings had collaborated for many years on clinical research on natural fertility regulation. Eric Odebrad studies cervical secretions during the menstrual cycle at the Department of Medical Biophysics, Umi University, Sweden.
It is the appearance and sensation produced by these vulvar secretions that provide the basis for observation of Billings' natural fertility regulation. Details of their findings related to the Billings Ovulation Method ® are available on the Billings Ovulation ® World Organization website.

Billings Ovulation Method^®Record Form

Caritas Hong Kong is authorized to train Billings Method teachers and teach Billings Method in Hong Kong, Macau and China.

Individual training (couple or couple to be) are conducted in three 1-hour sessions within 3 to 6 months. $700 per couple needs to be paid in the first session.
Registration form needs to be completed and fax back by using the number as stated in the form within 4 weeks. The assigned teacher will contact the couple to confirm the details of the interview.
